THE SECRET CODE OF FUEL ~ g@sOliNe ~

Last Saturday, I went to this place called Gasoline Café at Sungei Wang, Roof Top 6th Floor.
They have another branch at Taman Lembah Maju, Cheras (first branch) and another in Seri Kembangan.
GaSoLin3 Cafe has an interesting haunted house-like zone for diners to indulge in some ghoulish delights. Spooky masks and images deck the dining area, which has black walls White curtains which looked like a Camp area between the tables for some privacy. With black and red as consistent colours, Gasoline conceals nothing as manning the front counter and waiting on tables are young staff who eagerly shout out “hello, welcome” to each customer who walks in.

There were plasteres on the walls are interesting comic strips, which are also obvious on the tabletops as laminated comic stories catch the eye as you dine on the elaborate selection of Chinese
and Western fare. You may choose the GLOW in the Dark Camp or HOt SizzlinG Sensation Camp. The rooms with a casual laid back ambience where customers can sit on the floor and relax, play board games or card games while eating. No chairs, just tables and some nets. So expect to have a numbed-leg dinner, hahaha.

Now comes the food. I had this thingy called MArmite Snow CodFish (chef recommendation). It’s grilled cod fish with marmite sause on it and combination of fries and salad. Quite a big portion at a reasonable price. If you are Spagethi Lover, you should try this. Its Milk Spagethi, can you imagine Milk and Tomato Sauce together???..Also, give a shot on their Salad Prawn, Dried Scallop Fried Rice and Chicken Rendang. When it comes to drinks, they have varieties of 150 drinks. From fresh juices, smoothies, ice-blended to ice-creams as well.
THis is one of the Miracle Seven Series, also known as LOve A Stranger..
It’s a mixture of vanilla,milk, kiwi and ice-blended.
GIve a try, yoo!!!
Simply irresistable.

Tradisional COuntry HOuse " The Smoke House KL "

Somewhere near KLCC, you can actually escape the hectic jungle and have a quiet evening or two with clients, family or loved ones over some afternoon tea. Come dinnertime, the fireplace will definitely set the mood going for a good plate of Sirloin Steak and perhaps a rack of lamb topped up with some creme brule for dessert. Ambience and decor is as British as one can get in Kuala Lumpur.
Equally good was the Sirloin Steak with Yorkshire Pudding. The steak itself is wonderfully delicious with its nice beef gravy slowly oozing to the plate and swimming together with the crunchy vegetables. I lifted my fork and knife, cut a piece of steak with some yorkshire pudding and dipped in some beef gravy, smelt the wood fire from the fireplace and slowly enjoyed the meal. The good standard maintained by the KL Smokehouse are echo’ed by the other branches in Cameron Highlands and Frasiers as well.
This is my favourite Corner. I always wish to sit beside the window and enjoy a piece of cheese cake and a cup of tea during rainy days. It enhances the exictment of watching raindrops fall all over the ground .Scones here are easily one of the biggest and best in town. It comes accompanied by the so English clotted cream and jam. So sit back and enjoy. If that is not enough, order up some roast beef and tuna sandwiches as well. The Smokehouse has a little garden to can enjoy ‘KL air’ and an ambience that makes you feel very droll and witty.
So Wait no
more..Grab a chance and dine in at :

SUSHI FLAVOURS
The fascinating varieties of colourful sushi come to life at Kiku Zakura. The famous dish known as sashimi boat. It’s beautifully presented in a wooden serving resembling a boat. It includes of variety sushi such as sake (salmon), tuna, tako (octopus), yellow-tail, butter fish and squid. The sushi were placed on the shredded raddish which was accompanied with some cucumbers and a bowl of fish roe and a pinch of spicy wasbi. The sushi were all fresh and definetely doubled size thicker than those sushi u might get at cold storage for sure. However, tuna and sake are still the best noted and remarkable ones.
Here goes warm sizzling beef tepanyaki served with a bowl of rice, miso-soup, few slices of watermelon, and tamago (egg). This is one of the most wanted dish..keke

There are few outlets of Kiku Zakura, one at Times Square and the other at MIdvalley, the same floor as GSC. The food was not bad. There are loads to choose from and the price, it’s reasonable (even though I didn’t pay for it..hehe)
Note : When I say "not bad", the food is usually really nice just that I do not have the habit of saying "Wah, damn nice man the food". Yes, I’m quite fussy when it comes to food. The only time I said "I love the food" or "wah, it was a long long time ago. So guys, if you are interested with Japanese food, u may try this restaurant.
Affordable priced set meals with ala-carte as well. Served in a cosy ambience. Suitable for couples and old mates gathering oh..
Appetizer of the day..
Experience savoury seaweed cucumber !!!Treat yourself to delicious sushi, bento set, grill chicken/beef/squid..
